Fooling around.

Yesterday o got my hands on a Canon 3000N that belonged to one of my sisters. She merely used two or three rolls of film in about 5 years, so i just asked for the damn thing. Which means the 6x6 i was thinking about won't be much of an emergency for a good while.
Other than that i have 10 rolls of used films waiting to be processed and developed, and most of them are in waiting for up to a decade. Yeah, i just found them in the past couple of weeks :P

Have fun!

I'm eager to make a jump to TLR cameras for the larger format and for the way they are used. I looked through such an aparatus and i just loved the way i was supposed to take the picture! However, good quality TLRs are not produced anymore, and in my area the prices of the used ones are sky-high! I won't go as low as a new Seagull, because that's not much of a quality, though the new ones are lots cheaper than used and partially functional Rolleiflexes.

Just recently, though, i found out about an offer for a used Pentacon Six. It is something different, and i'm sure it will take away some of the awesomeness of using a TLR, but is a medium format and it doesn't come that much expensive, plus it looks good (at least on the site, but i trust the shop). But some opinions over the web pushed me back a bit.

So, what do you think, is Pentacon Six ok for medium format, or is it rather a "trade-off"?

Finally got myself not one, but two old-new film cameras. I started shooting one film for every two weeks on an average, and also organised the gallery in folders, one for each camera i had. And since i can't really get lucky, the self-timer stopped working on the one i use most, while the other one has a tiny hole on the courtain, wich lives some marks on the photos. But this time i'm not opening them like i did before, i think i've learned my lesson :P

My cam got broken. The exponometer switch fell off, so i was unable to turn on the exponometer. Being a curious guy i thought i can fix it, so i disasembled it. Only now there's no way that i can put all those tiny pieces back. But hey, i still have the lenses :P, and the last film to develop.
If i buy another body i stick to Pentax, only i'll be carefull to chose one with a timer.
